Signals Marketplace
The Proovly Signals Marketplace lets verified traders monetise their edge by selling signals to followers — with one critical difference from every other signals service: subscribers can see the seller’s full verified track record before they pay.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”For signal sellers
Section titled “For signal sellers”- Build your verified profile. Connect your trading accounts, let your stats accumulate, and earn your verified badge. The longer your verified track record, the more trust you build.
- Enable signals. From your profile settings, activate the signals marketplace. This is available on Pro ($49/mo) and Elite ($99/mo) tiers.
- Set your price. You decide what to charge subscribers. Monthly pricing, set by you. Common ranges are $19-$199/month depending on asset class, track record, and exclusivity.
- Post signals. Share your trade ideas, entries, exits, and analysis through the signals feed. Signals are only visible to your paying subscribers.
- Get paid. Proovly collects subscription payments from your followers and pays you after deducting the platform fee.
For signal subscribers
Section titled “For signal subscribers”- Browse verified traders. The marketplace shows traders with verified profiles, ranked by ELO, performance metrics, and subscriber count.
- Review the track record. Before subscribing, you see the trader’s full verified stats — win rate, drawdown, PnL history, equity curve, connected accounts, and how long they’ve been verified.
- Subscribe. Pay the trader’s monthly rate. You get access to their signals feed immediately.
- Evaluate. If the signals aren’t working for you, cancel any time.
Platform fee
Section titled “Platform fee”Proovly takes a 20-30% cut of signal subscription revenue, depending on volume:
| Monthly signal revenue | Platform cut |
|---|---|
| $0 - $500 | 30% |
| $501 - $2,000 | 25% |
| $2,001+ | 20% |
The rest goes to the signal seller. Payouts are processed monthly.
Example: A trader charges $49/month and has 30 subscribers. Monthly revenue: $1,470. Platform cut at 25%: $367.50. Trader receives: $1,102.50.
Why verified stats matter for signals
Section titled “Why verified stats matter for signals”The signals industry is broken because there’s no verification. Anyone can claim a 90% win rate, post cherry-picked screenshots, and charge $99/month. Subscribers have no way to know if the track record is real until they’ve already paid and lost money.
Proovly fixes this by requiring signal sellers to have verified profiles on Pro or Elite tiers. The stats on a seller’s profile come directly from their connected trading accounts via MetaApi, CCXT, or on-chain reads. They cannot be edited, cherry-picked, or faked.
When a subscriber looks at a seller’s profile, they see:
- Verified balance and equity history from connected accounts
- Actual win rate calculated from real trades
- Real drawdown numbers (daily and maximum)
- How long the account has been connected and continuously verified
- On-chain ELO rating reflecting overall performance
- Disconnection history showing if any accounts were removed
This is the difference between “trust me” and “verify me.”
Pricing guidance
Section titled “Pricing guidance”Proovly doesn’t set signal prices — traders do. But some guidelines:
- Lower prices attract more subscribers. A $19/month signal with 100 subscribers earns more than a $199/month signal with 3.
- Match price to track record. A trader verified for 6 months with consistent performance can charge more than someone verified for 2 weeks.
- Asset class matters. Crypto signals often command higher prices than forex signals due to market volatility and opportunity size.
- Transparency builds retention. Subscribers who can see your real-time verified stats are more likely to stay even during drawdown periods, because they can see the full picture.
What signal sellers cannot do
Section titled “What signal sellers cannot do”- Edit or hide stats. Your verified profile is your storefront. What the data says is what subscribers see.
- Cherry-pick which accounts to show. All connected accounts contribute to your profile. Disconnecting an account is visible to subscribers.
- Guarantee returns. Proovly’s terms prohibit signal sellers from promising specific returns or risk-free performance.
- Charge for access to their profile. Profile stats are always public. Signals (trade ideas and entries) are the paid content.
Copy trading vs signals
Section titled “Copy trading vs signals”Proovly offers two ways to follow verified traders: signals and copy trading. Both are available to Pro and Elite subscribers.
- Signals are manual alerts. The provider posts a trade idea — entry, exit, analysis — and you decide whether and how to act on it. You stay in full control of every trade.
- Copy trading is automatic replication via MetaApi CopyFactory. When the provider opens a trade on their MT5, CopyFactory mirrors it into your connected MT4/MT5 account. Configurable lot ratios, risk filters, and max drawdown settings let you tailor execution to your account size and risk tolerance.
Both channels are available to Pro ($49/mo) and Elite ($99/mo) subscribers. Providers earn a revenue share from both — signal subscriptions and copy trading subscriptions contribute to the same payout structure described above.
For full details on how copy trading works, see the Copy Trading page.
What Proovly doesn’t do
Section titled “What Proovly doesn’t do”- We don’t route orders. Signals are information — trade ideas shared by the seller. Subscribers decide whether and how to act on them.
- We don’t manage risk for subscribers. If a subscriber follows a signal and loses money, that’s between them and their own account.
- We don’t guarantee signal quality. Verification means the stats are real, not that future signals will be profitable.
